Day 3: A Painting a Day Keeps the Creative Block Away
Each day presents something new, a fresh opportunity to encapsulate the beauty that surrounds us. From the play of light on familiar objects to the intricate details of nature, I draw inspiration from the world around me. The challenge lies not just in painting a scene but in capturing its soul, breathing life into each stroke of the brush.
I chose a different set of objects for today's painting, a milk jug and egg surrounded with a beautiful green ribbon. The thing I am finding most challenging is brushstrokes, keeping them limited and simple. I am used to fully blending and adding tiny details, so this way of painting 'Alla Prima' (in one sitting) is definitely challenging me to keep it fresh and impulsive.
